
Primary Year Group Checklists:
EXS: | By the end of each academic year (July), each Primary year group are given a set of parameters to meet so that your child is achieving 'age related expectations' or 'ARE'. This can also be recorded as 'Expected Progress' or 'EXS'. |
WTS: | Some children will not achieve all these statements and they will be recorded on informal assessments as 'working below' or 'working towards', sometimes recorded at 'WTS', all this really means is their learning objectives for the following year will be incoroporated those they are not secure on from the previous year. |
GDS: | Other children will exceed these expectations and will be given the same objectives to learn but in a greater depth such as real-life work problems to ensure their understanding of these objectives is at a deeper level. They can be recorded on informal assessments as 'Greater Depth' or 'GDS' |
