As specified in your Pathway Plan, financial support will also be available to assist you with:
- The cost of maintaining contact with your family and significant others.
- Social activities, hobbies and cultural activities/outings.
- Maintaining your cultural and religious needs.
- If you live outside of St.Helens, your Social Worker or Personal Adviser will support you to explore what is on offer in your area.
St.Helens Youth Service
St.Helens Youth Service provides one-to-one youth work to young people with additional needs up to age 18. The team can support you with any barriers that may be affecting you, including budgeting, life skills and relationships.
The team also offer open access services, such as additional needs sessions for young people with special educational needs and/or a disability.
The session is on every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Grange Valley Junior Youth Club and costs £4.50 per session.
There is also a free swim session for ages 10 to 18, every Friday from 7pm to 9pm at Parr Swimming Pool.
Libraries
There are libraries across the St.Helens borough that are free to access and also have groups available for children and young people.
