St Helens DTs
St Helens Virtual School holds a Designated Teachers Forum 3 times a year (one per term) in which we gather together the St Helens DTs and inform them about changes, recommendations, advice and possibilities. Each forum is unique and contains:
- Updates - changes to Welfare call, patterns that need addressing etc...
- Spotlight schools - Schools that have stood out in certain areas with regard to the children we look after
- Training - significant areas that DT's need to be aware of within school e.g. anxiety, transition, SEN, outcomes, attendance etc...
- Training opportunities - courses available for DTs to sign up to such as Lego Therapy, Mental Health training, FASD etc...
- Networking - A chance to discuss individual cases with relevant people from the Virtual School.
- and much much more.....
Out of Borough DTs
We also hold an Out of Borough Forum three times a year based on the same themes, however, these Forums take place via a Teams invite.
