During our Autumn Term DT Forum, we explored the many options that are available through the Views, Wishes, and Feelings page of the PEP. Here are some of the options we shared, and each image is hyperlinked so you can access and use it within school.
Please feel free to use your own custom-made pupil views that are suitable for your own pupils needs, but please remember to upload your format to the PEP under documents.

Microsoft Forms options for phone and tablets:
We are also currently exploring a mobile-friendly version of pupil views based on the feedback from the children we look after. Through Microsoft Forms a link or using the embedded document, this can be sent to a child to complete on a tablet, mobile phone, or laptop. Once completed online a single entry can be printed to pdf and uploaded to the child's PEP as illustrated in the image (click to enlarge)
Pupil Voice Guidance:
This guidance for Pupil Voice has been developed by Mill Green special school in conjunction with SENCOs and change 4 life to suggest an approach to obtaining pupil voice and some tips and tactics to gain the best from the children we look after. For example, some children and young people might need a higher level of support to share their views, or different approaches or specific tools. It is important to match support to need. This guidance encourages creative approaches to allow children and young people to share what is important to and for them. Some children and young people may need information given to them at a younger developmental level. They may be socially aware so any materials /tools used should show sensitivity to their strengths and promote a positive self-concept. Photographs/ visuals/ objects can be the narrative through which a child expresses their views. |
