Education Safeguarding Service 

St Helens Virtual School provides education safeguarding support to all schools and settings within the borough. 

The support available includes:

  • advice and guidance.
  • training and professional development.
  • educational representation across the St Helens Safeguarding Children Partnership.
  • completion of the Section 175 audit.
  • school safeguarding reviews and quality assurance.

The Education Safeguarding Service supports the Virtual School in carrying out its extended duties in improving educational outcomes for children and young people who have a social worker.
